Lightning Arms Sports is proud to carry fine grip panels by Craig Spegel.

Handcrafted and checkered from exquisite hardwoods, Spegel brings character and class to any project. As with any piece of fine art, Craig signs his name on the inside of each set, certifying its authenticity.

Prized by collectors and operators for their beauty, ergonomics and durability since the 1980s, you would have to search far and wide to find better stocks for your prized handguns.

*The grip panels pictured are representative of Craig Spegel’s various quality grades: Standard (S, S+, S++), Better-than-Standard (BTS, BTS+, BTS++), Presentation, Exhibition and areas in between. A Note From Craig Spegel
Important information regarding high grade wood

"All wood expands and contracts with changes in humidity, that’s why precision rifles are synthetic stocks and not wood. The absolute most stable wood is straight grain quarter sawn boards.  It’s also what I call standard grade. Anytime you have flat sawn boards or burly pieces there is the possibility of warping if subjected to extremes in humid conditions. Because of the measures that I take in drying and storing the wood it rarely is a problem. As I cannot control how and where the grips are stored, and the scarcity of high grade wood, I (Craig Spegel) cannot offer either a money back or replacement guarantee.  In the rare event that they do warp, I can usually straighten them out and refinish them however.
